God’s Words Build Us Up

Words have meaning and they form pictures in the mind. Too often we hear people say things that ridicule, insult, and humiliate. What runs through one’s mind can enhance or discourage believing. God’s words build us up. We should say what God’s Word says.

Words, believing, speak what God says when confronted with challenges, doubts, defeat, discouragement

Acts 14:8-10, 3:1-9; Ezekiel 12:25-28; 2 Corinthians 10:5; Ephesians 1:3; Philippians 4:6; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 John 5:4; Psalm 29:11

We Have Life!

In the new birth, we have so many wonderful things that have been given to us by God’s grace and love. The gift of holy spirit born within is the guarantee of our inheritance that is to come in the future. In addition to what we have in Christ today, we also have life – life today and life to come.

Hope, resurrection, first fruits, mystery, be steadfast and unmovable, deliverance, new life, life everlasting

2 Corinthians 4:14; 1 Corinthians 15:16-26,51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Colossians 3:3-4; Philippians 3:20-21

Access to The One True God

God’s Word clearly explains that we have access to The One True God. Think about that for a minute – we can approach our Heavenly Father, the Creator of the heavens and the earth – whoa! We will explore this great reality from what God says in His Word. Let’s get started!

Justified, peace, access, spirit, boldness, the right way of believing, bring us to God, He hears and grants, in the name of Jesus Christ, with thanksgiving

You Don’t Want to Miss This!

Christians who do not learn about what they are freely given in Christ, what God says belongs to them for their enjoyment, are missing out on the pleasure that comes from living in light of what God in Christ has provided for His earthly children. Well, you don’t want to miss this!

Born again, children, incorruptible seed, sonship, overcome the world, delivered us, blessed with all spiritual blessings, alive

We Have so Much More

Christians have been freely given so much in Christ Jesus. In this session we consider an introduction to what we have because of the accomplishments of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Man’s Need – God’s Plan

When the Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus, he stated that through the Church, the diverse wisdom of God was made known “in accordance with the purpose of the ages which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.” What was the purpose of the ages? What had been accomplished in Christ Jesus? We will consider this subject in this session.

Putting Things in Perspective

Many people have an opinion of what is essential for life: food, safety, family, social parity, to name a few. But God’s Word explains what He considers essential, and we will examine this subject so we can adjust our lives to be in harmony with Him and His will.

Peace and Good Will Have Come

Living in this day and time, we can look back to the first coming of the Christ and all that he accomplished for our redemption. However, for the preceding four-thousand years, people had to patiently wait for his first coming. In this session, we consider some of God’s Word that was available to these early believers and how it sustained their believing and hope that God would be faithful to His pledge to send the Promised Seed.

A God-Appointed Critic

As born-again ones, filled with the gift of holy spirit, we have the ability to walk effectively with our Heavenly Father. In this session we will consider a record involving Elijah, a man who walked with God. We consider his receptivity and his response when dealing with a very evil man – King Ahab.
